So how was you guys' Fourth of July weekend? Hope you had fun! My family had barbecue with hot dogs and pretty much the best burgers I have ever tasted. My mom really outdid herself with those. Man...

When the night came, my dad brought out a huge bag of fireworks that he had bought with my grandma. This was really exciting for my family, especially my little brothers and sisters, because where we used to live in California you weren't allowed to use fireworks (for safety reasons I guess). Now that we moved this was the first time we could celebrate Independence Day with fireworks. It was a great show, besides the stupid mosquitoes (I have like 9 bites all over my arm and legs), I sprayed on a whole lot of bug spray and sat on the grass to take pictures with my new camera. Some of the photos turned out pretty well, if you would like to see some of the pictures, please let me know.

And what better way to end the day than with cake? Yup, I made a 13x9'' American flag cake. It was awesome. I got a picture of that cake too.

Anyway...off of that subject...I watched all the Michael Jackson specials today. Including the memorial at Staples Center, that was SO freaking sad, even a tough ass like me nearly burst into tears. It really breaks my heart that such a talented entertainer died right before he was going to perform his big London shows. It's very sad, I would've loved to see him make a comeback. Now I have his song "You Are Not Alone" in my head right now, I don't think it's going anywhere soon.

Rest in peace, to the beloved King of Pop...you will always be remembered; in the hearts of the thousands of people who loved you, and in your music that will be played for eternity.

(and to all of thos dumb ass weirdos out there who think he did all those bad things, just shup up, will you? He did none of those things, just some stupid people trying to get money from him...don't believe any of it!)
